Corinne Courtney, age 35, passed away on September 17th, 2015 in Sarnia. Corinne was born in Sarnia, Ontario on July 16th, 1980. She is survived by mother Mona Courtney-Gaw, step father Mike Simic and six siblings, Duston Courtney, Neil Courtney, Ward Courtney, Vicki Courtney, Jim Courtney, Debbie Courtney and wass predeceased by father Tom Courtney and her sister Sandy Courtney, Grandmothers Annie Coté© Beaulieu, Helen Courtney-Johnson, Grandfathers Harvey Beaulieu, Thomas Courtney, Bill Johnson
Corinne was a very loving daughter and sister who went above and beyond for her family and friends. She had a strong passion for art and a love for poetry. Corinne spent the majority of her time with her mother Mona and her younger brother Duston. Corinne was very active and outgoing with an amazing sense of humor that could put a smile on any face. Corinne was a person who gave generously with an open heart to her loved ones and community, she held great respect among her family and friends and she was always there in times of need and comfort. Corinne was very fond of children and showed great respect towards the elderly in her community. A gathering for family and friends will be held at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St., Sarnia) on Saturday, September 26th, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Memories and messages of condolence may be sent through www.djrobb.on.ca
