With his family by his side at Bluewater Health - Mitton Site on Sunday, April 5, 2009, CLAYTON LARRY STEWART, age 85, of Sarnia, beloved husband of the late Marion Freda (Dietz) Stewart (2002). Dear father of Carolyn Watts and her husband Derek of Sarnia and Mary Jane (Dave) of Corunna. Loving grandfather of Jamie Watts and his wife Pam and Shawn Watts and Michael, Ashley and Kelsey Hill. Great grandfather of Jade and Hudson Watts and Ashley Crete. Brother of Christina Cook of Petrolia. Predeceased by his parents Kay and Larry Stewart. Born in Sarnia, Mr. Stewart retired from Polysar Corp. and was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Algonquin Regiment R.C.A., and was a prisoner of war before being liberated at the end of the war. He was very active with the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #62 and Point Edward Ex-Servicemen's Club. Cremation has taken place and a private interment of cremains will take place at Lakeview Cemetery. Visitation will take place at the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday, April 8th from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Royal Canadian Legion Br. # 62 will conduct a memorial service at the funeral home on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. Donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #62 or Point Edward Ex-Servicemen's Club.
