Christopher Lawrence Fitzpatrick

CHRISTOPHER LAWRENCE FITZPATRICK (October 26, 1956 – February 15, 2025)

Chris passed peacefully at home in Point Edward in his 69th year with the love of his life “my Vickie”, his Irish Setters Azif and Esme, and ragdoll cat Bruce at his side after a lengthy illness.

Chris was a loving father to Tyrel Fitzpatrick (Shawntel) and a loving Athair to his Jennifer Lisa and Robbie. Beloved first born son to Beverly and the late Gary Fitzpatrick (January 3, 2024). Brother to Kelly Van Heesch (Ronny), Jill Dell (Kevin) and Brett Fitzpatrick. Brother-in-law to Shonnie Grise, Nancy Swales Jones, Lynne Swales and Tim Swales. Nephew of Carolyn Ashton. Nephew of Lorna Smith and family. Chris is also survived by his many nephews and nieces. 

Chris was a retired pipefitter with UA Local 663. He had a great love and knowledge of animals which he passed on to his nephews and nieces. He loved to ride his mobility scooter with his sidekick Azif at his feet. During past summers, Chris had many boating adventures with his Vickie on the C-Breeze and the River Witch II. Winter fun was travelling throughout the Caribbean. Chris and Vickie’s favourite spot was Turks & Caicos Islands and the time spent at Somewhere. Someday my love, I’ll meet you Somewhere…
