At Bluewater Health on Tuesday April 22, 2024, after a courageous two-year battle with Breast Cancer, Christine Andrea Bradshaw, age 51 of Sarnia has gone home to be with her Lord. She was a loving and devoted partner, daughter, mother, grandma, sister and friend.
She is survived by her best friend and 13-year partner, Dwayne Viggers, her parents Linda and Ken Bradshaw, her children, Emily, Gabriel and Phoebe, grandson August Acer Bradshaw, siblings Tamara and Daniel and her special friend to Shawna for all those long porch chats and talks. Chris will be missed by her fur babies, Ben, June and Buddy.
Chris was a kindhearted person who will be remembered for her big heart, humour and strength. Her biggest joy was her children and grandson. She loved nature and being outside, you could always find her by the beach painting, reading a book or riding her bike. Dwayne and Christine have many memories from over the years, including trips to Callander Bay with the cats, hanging out at Purdys on the river painting and trips to Windsor to name a few favourites.
My little mermaid, your memory, smile and laughter will be greatly missed. I know you are on a beach somewhere free of pain.
In accordance with Christine's wishes there will be no funeral. For those wishing to do so, memorial gifts made in Christines memory to the Breast Cancer Society of Canada, 420 East Street N., Sarnia, ON., N7T 6Y5 or at https://breastcancerprogress.ca/ would be appreciated by the family.
“A special thank you to Dr. Crombeen and the Nursing staff in the Palliative Care Unit for all your care and support during this difficult time”
