Charlotte Smart

At the St. Joseph's Hospice in Sarnia on Thursday, July 29, 2010, CHARLOTTE (McDOUGALL) SMART, age 79 of Sarnia passed away. She was the dear wife of the late Walter Smart (1983) and loving mother of Irene Horner and David Smart and his wife Diane all of Sarnia, grandmother of Samantha and Sean Horner and Heather and Meghan Smart and sister of Catherine Smith of Scotland. She was predeceased by her brothers John, Willie, George, James, Robert and Peter. Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Charlotte was retired from the Canadian Red Cross. She was a volunteer at Rosewood Manor and the Strangway Centre for many years. Funeral services will be held at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Saturday, July 31st at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Friday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
