Charlene Leta Mae Archer, nee Thompson – She was born on September 5, 1948 and passed away peacefully, with family by her side on December 10, 2022 at Bluewater Health. Charlene was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. At the age of 38, she returned to college and became a PSW and graduated on the Dean’s Honour list. Charlene worked at Trillium Nursing Home of Sarnia as a PSW.
She was predeceased by her husband Robert (Bob) Dale Archer, daughter Jacqueline Marie Archer, grandson Jack Emerson Archer- Muscat, her parents Ken Thompson and Florence Brohman and great-grandson Hunter David Owen Grant. She will be dearly missed by her children Tess (Dave) Grant, Bob Archer, Joe Archer, Lori (Brian) Archer, Jack Archer, Jim Archer and Luke (Darlene) Archer. She was a wonderful grandmother to many grandchildren and was also a wonderful great grandmother to many great-grandchildren. She was the rock that her family anchored to, and looked to for much advice and support. She was a very loving, caring person and helped anybody that she could. She will be missed by her cousin Mary Ellen Howes who was more like a sister to her, then a cousin. She will also be missed, by many friends, but she will be especially missed by her friend June Irving, who has been a lifelong friend for 60 years. They were like sisters and called each other daily!

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date and interment of her ashes will be at Hillsdale Cemetery in Petrolia. The arrangements have been entrusted to the D. J.
