Cecile Hunt

Peacefully with her children by her side at St. Joseph’s Hospice on Wednesday July 8, 2020 CECILE (BUSCHOLL) HUNT passed away at the age of 95 years.  Beloved wife of the late Cy Hunt (1995). Loving mother of Cathy Mathers (Dennis) and Bob Hunt (Susie).  Cherished grandmother to Jennifer (Kirsti) Mathers McHenry, Cindy (Tom) Orr, Chris (Elle) Mathers, Elizabeth (Lance) Schibler and great-grandmother to Ruby, Cy, Emily, Dylan, Alex and June. Predeceased by her parents Philip and Marianne Buscholl, sisters Elizabeth Bachmeler, Rose Buscholl, Sister Florentine, Matilda Schill, Mary Kunz and her brother Frank Buscholl.  Cecile was a longtime resident of the Sandpiper and spent the last 2 years at Marshall Gowland Manor. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.  The family would like to thank nurses and staff at Marshall Gowland Manor and St. Joseph’s Hospice for their excellent care. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice.
