At Bluewater Health on Monday, February 14, 2011, CATHERINE THERESA (McNEVIN) MASON, age 85, of Sarnia, beloved wife of the late Clifton Mason (2002). Dear mother of Julie Stewart (Jay) of Corunna and Cathy Van Praet (Brian) of Mooretown. Loving grandmother of Mason, Vanessa and Brandon Van Praet. Sister in law of Hector Mason. Predeceased by her brother Gus, sister Margaret McNevin, brothers in law Earl, Stanley, Jim and Doug Mason and sister in law Georgina Thompson. Born in 1925, Catherine worked at Laura Secord in the Eaton Centre for many years and served with the Royal Canadian Navy as a Wren during the Second World War. Cremation will take place. A memorial service will be held from the Chapel of the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 102 N. Victoria St., Sarnia, on Friday, February 18th at 11:00 am. Interment in Lakeview Cemetery. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 am until time of service.
