Caroline Elizabeth Stark

Caroline Elizabeth Stark, age 88, died on Monday, April 2, 2018, in Sarnia, Ontario. Caroline Stark was born on June 1, 1929 in Houghton, Saskatchewan, to parents Frank Emerson Stark and Sarah Jane (Ruddick) Stark. Caroline was the youngest, pre-deceased by brothers; Chris, John, Burt, Stan and Lloyd. She graduated from St. Joseph’s School of Nursing, London in 1950 as a Registered Nurse and attended the University of Western Ontario for Nursing Administration in 1957. She worked for St. Joseph’s Hospital, Sarnia and Sarnia General Hospital, Victorian Order of Nursing Brockville, Westminster Hospital, London, and finished her career at Sarnia General Hospital.  Carrie was a wonderful aunt, great aunt and great – great aunt. She will be missed by many loving nieces and nephews. Carrie appreciated all their love, support and care over the years. She adored the dogs and cats who shared her home. Her family and friends will always remember her as a person of great faith. Carrie gives thanks to Sally Hummel, her friend and mentor. The family would also like to thank Donna Archer and Bonnie Reid who helped her remain happy and content in her home for many years. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at the D.J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 Victoria Street, North, Sarnia, ON) on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to service time.
