Cornish, Carol Ruth - It is with great sadness that we mourn the loss of our aunt and friend Carol, who passed away suddenly in Peterborough on November 9, 2009 at age 70. Dearly loved daughter of the late Charles and Ida Cornish and dear sister of the late Harry Cornish who passed away September 9, 2009. Dear sister in law of Evelyn Cornish, loving aunt of Catherine Powell (Micky), Pamela Churchill (Neil), Douglas Cornish, Calvin Cornish (Ruth), Carol Cornish (Jeff) and Kim Cornish. Carol will be missed by her many great and great-great nieces and nephews. Lifelong friend of Roberta Corey and Grace Lightley. A celebration of Carol's life will take place at the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE (102 N. Victoria St., Sarnia) on Monday, November 16th. at 1:00 p.m. Visitation at the funeral home on Monday afternoon from 12:00 noon until time of service. If so desired, donations in memory of Carol may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation (cheques only please).
