Carl Clifford Williamson

WILLIAMSON, CARL (February 10, 1930 - July 3, 2016) – At Bluewater Health on Sunday, July 3, 2016, Carl Clifford Williamson, age 86 of Sarnia passed away with his family by his side. Carl will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 66 years Marie (Wilson) and was the loving father of Karen (Pat) Voegelin, Kevin (Donna) Williamson, Cindy (Bert) Robertson.  He was the cherished poppa of grandchildren Tyler Hall (Michelle), Kayla Hall (Todd), Daniel Williamson, Jessica Williamson, Sarah Robertson and Benjamin Robertson. He is also survived by sister Helen (Wilfred) Crandon (Strathroy), sister-in-laws Pat Edwards, Myrtle Wilson, Alice Wilson and Maryann Wilson. Uncle Carl will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his parents Vaughn and Gertrude Williamson (Watford), brothers Allan, Kenneth and Laverne, brother-in-laws Kenneth, Clayton, Robert and Basil Wilson, Bill Edwards and Murray Long. Carl worked for 38 years and retired in 1986 from Polysar.  He was a lifetime member of Otisippi Lodge #719, A.F & A.M. Funeral services will be held at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St., Sarnia) on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 11:00 am. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. and again on Thursday an hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery. Memorial donations in memory of Carl to the Humane Society or the V.O.N. would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the D.J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre.
