Calbert Edward Rankin

RANKIN, CALBERT – At Bluewater Health on Monday, December 7, 2015, Calbert (Cal) Edward Rankin, age 86 of Sarnia passed away. He was the loving husband of the late Frances (Pat) Patricia (Corby) Rankin (2002) and dear father of John Rankin, Doug and his wife Tami of Mississauga and Paula Rankin and her husband Daniel Armchuk of Toronto, grandfather of Meagan, MacKenzie, Daniel and Amanda. He is also survived by his brother John, his wife Marion and his sister Margaret Cooper. Cal had retired from Imperial Oil after many years of service and was a longtime member of Laurel Lea/St. Matthews Presbyterian Church and the Sarnia Golf & Curling Club. Private funeral services will be held at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St., Sarnia) with interment following at Lakeview Cemetery. Memorial gifts made through donations to the Heart & Stoke Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Association would be appreciated by the family.
