Bruno Kaija

At Bluewater Health, Sarnia on Wednesday, August 28, 2013, BRUNO KAIJA, age 83 passed away. He was the loving husband of Dora Kaija and dear father and grandfather of Jane Kaija(John) and their children Joshua and Leesa, Bruce Kaija (Jill) and their children Jenni, Janet, Brian and Paul, Leesa Anderson (Keith) and their children Celia (Jeff) and their daughter Sydney and Rachel (James), brother of Bertha Lawrence and brother in law of Susan Kaija, Annie Stoner and Irma Bannister. Fifteen nieces and nephews also survive. He was predeceased by his parents Jenny (2009) and Sulo, step father Walter (1989), his brother Arnold (2005) and brother in law Jim Lawrence (2003). Bruno was a member of All Saints Anglican Church, the Sheet Metal Workers, Local #539 and was Past Master of Tuscan Masonic Lodge #437. Funeral services will be held at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Saturday, August 31st at 10:30 am. with Father Nick Wells officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday between the hours of 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Sympathy expressed through donations to Guillaine-Barre Syndrome Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
