WARD, Brian
In his 87th year and after a life well-lived, Brian Ward passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice in Sarnia, Ontario. He is now back in the arms of his loving wife Sylvia (1990).
Brian leaves behind his devoted daughter Jacqueline and her husband, Brian’s “son” and best buddy, James, who will miss him profoundly.
Dear brother of Phyllis and loving Uncle to Debbie (Brian), Steve (Pat), Cathy (Jack), Stephanie, Brenda (Mike), Pauline and many more nieces and nephews in England. He was grateful for his many dear friends, most notably Myrna and Jan and Lyn and Dave.
“Gov” was a Millwright at Dow Chemical for 30 years and enjoyed his job immensely.
Brian’s family wish to thank Dr Crombeen, Dr Maddison and the remarkable team at St Joseph’s Hospice for caring so lovingly and patiently for their dad, for making him smile, and for ensuring his dignity to the very last moment. “You really thought of everything.” We are so grateful and we will never forget you. A special thank you to Dr Brian Davies for the exceptional care all these years.
Per Brian’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice, 475 Christina Street North, Sarnia, Ontario, N7T 5W3.
