TEFT, BRIAN LEE - Suddenly on Thursday, October 8, 2009 at Port Huron Hospital, BRIAN LEE TEFT, age 56, of Port Huron was taken from us. Beloved husband of Tina, father to Bruce Teft, Megan Petras (Salzatore), Brandie (John) Schemansky, Tommy (Pamela) Shafran and daughter-in-law Tracy Goyette, beloved papa of Chaze, Aleigha,Logan, Hunter and Mason. Dearly loved son of Evelyn Teft, loving brother of Alan (Jane) of Corunna, Denis (Carol) of Terrace, BC, Wayne (Liz) of Wyoming, Sharon (Paul) Charlton of Sarnia, Ed (Mary) of Sarnia and Dean (Virginia) of Petrolia. Loving brother-in-law of Lila Eakins. Also survived by several loving aunts, uncles, great aunt, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and many close and loving friends. Predeceased by father Elmer Teft (2001) and step son Gene Goyette Jr. (2007). Brian will be sadly missed by all his customers at the é¢a‚A"Shoe Shopé¢a‚. He recently celebrated his 20th anniversary with AA. Brian assisted others through difficult times in their lives with his unselfish deeds. His passion for golf and cultivating the roses at his é¢a‚A"Shoe Shopé¢a‚ filled some of his time after retiring from Dow Chemical in 2005; but his greatest passion was playing and entertaining his grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, October 14th between 2 and 4 p.m. and 7 and 9 p.m. at the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTRE, 102 Victoria St. N., Sarnia with a celebration of life taking place at 8:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Moore Union Cemetery, Moore Line on Thursday, October 15th at 10:00 a.m. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Pathways Treatment Centre or Charity of Choice (cheques only please).
