Beverly Ann Quackenbush

QUACKENBUSH, BEVERLY ANN – Peacefully at Bluewater Health Palliative Care on Thursday, May 11th, 2017 with her loving family beside her.  Bev was born on September 11, 1951 in Kalamazoo, Michigan and her family moved to Brantford in 1956 where she attended Central School, Victoria & BCI.  Bev moved to Sarnia in 1970 to go to Lambton College.  She worked at Bayview Chrysler Dodge as a receptionist for years, Agriculture Canada, then on to Community Social Services, ODSP, President of Local #123 Sarnia OPSEU for 14 years. Bev was an avid volunteer with many local charities. Bev was predeceased by the love of her life, her hubby Bill Sr.  Bev is survived by her sons Bill Jr. and his wife Kimmarie, Don and his wife Kim, and her daughter Jen and her husband Kevin, grandchildren Desiree, Ashley, Chelsey, Jordan, Hailey, Ariana, Aliya, Jaxon and Cashius and two great grandchildren Cohan and Jack.  Also survived by her sisters Diane, Carol and Wayne Fowlie, brother Gord, niece Tammy and her husband Steven and their children Felicia (Jordan) and Jeffrey, and nephew Shonn.   Predeceased by her parents Gordon  (1990) & Joanne (2005), sisters Kathy (1985) and Vickie (2007).  Funeral services will be held at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St., Sarnia) on Monday, May 15, 2017 at 1:30 pm.  Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery.  Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Sunday, May 14, 2017 between the hours of 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
