At Rosewwood Manor on Thursday, February 27, 2014, BERNICE LOUISE STRANGWAY at 96 years of age. Predeceased by her beloved husband Archie (1996), loving parents Herbert and Louise (Holloway) Weston, special brothers Haydn and Ernest Weston. Survived locally by nephew Robert Weston (Carol), nephew in - law Ross Dunn and niece in - law Pauline Mc Lean. Also survived by nieces Louise Parry (Tom), Carol Keigher (Gerry), nephews Herbert (Lynda)Weston and Kenneth (Lois) Ricker. Many nieces and nephews (in - laws) also survive. An accomplished pianist and organist, Louise was active for many years in Sarnia musical circles and was organist for 25 years at Manduamin United Church. A life member of the United Church Women, she was a devoted member of her church and actively involved in its work. At Louise's request, there will be no funeral service or visitation at the funeral home. A family graveside service for interment of the cremains will take place at Wyoming Cemetery at a later date. Those so wishing may make donations at the funeral home to the charity of their choice. The family wishes to thanks Dr. Glen Maddison and his staff, Rosewood Manor staff and the staff at Bayshore Health and in particular nurses Brenda and Blain and one very special friend Doreen.
