Bernard James Dale

With sadness in their hearts the family announces the passing of Bernard James Dale, age 92 of Sarnia. Bernie passed away at Marshall Gowland Manor on Tuesday, August 9, 2022. He was the dear husband for 56 years of the late June Patricia Marion Dale, nee James (2015). He was the loving father of Andrew Dale (Sue), Carolyn Butler (Paul) and David Dale (Gayle) and was loved and will be missed by his grandchildren Brock, Branden, Alyssa and Taylor, Francis, Billy, Emily and Danny and several other grand and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Ernest and Louise, daughter Catherine Dale, his sister Edna Cope and his brother Wilbur. Bernie was a retired Millwright, Local #1592 and a longstanding member of St. Clair Parkway Golf Course in Mooretown where he had a hole in one, lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #63, a member of the Men’s League at Marcin Bowl and an all-round avid sports fan. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the staff of Iris Court at Marshall Gowland Nursing Home.
