Barbara Murray

Peacefully, at Afton Park Place on Sunday evening, November 13, 2011, went to be with her Lord, Barbara Dell (Van Sickle) Murray, age 82, of Sarnia, beloved wife of the late John Elvin Murray (1996). Dear mother of Betty Stone of Sarnia, Janice Carr (Merritt) and Robert Lockwood (Loreen) all of Frankford and Joan Griffin Leblanc (Roy) of London. Loving grandmother of Melanie Kennedy, Robert, Brian and David Griffin, Michael and Scott Lockwood, Paul Carr and Julie Pearce and 20 great grandchildren. Sister of Victoria DiLeo of Toronto and Patricia French of Pontiac, Michigan. Predeceased by her parents Margaret and Cecil Van Sickle, three brothers and five sisters. Barbara was a long time member of St. James the Apostle Anglican Church and recently of Trinity Anglican Church. Funeral services will be held from TRINITY ANGLICAN CHURCH, 1194 Murphy Rd., on Friday, November 18th at 11:00 am with the Reverend Robert Rowe officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery. Visitation will take place at the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE on Thursday between the hours of 2:00 - 5:00 pm. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the charity of choice.
