Barbara Catherine Murray Edwards - Peacefully at home with her family by her side on Sunday, November 13, 2022, Barbara Catherine Murray (nee Stark) Edwards passed away in her 91 year. Loving wife of Ernie Edwards for 60 wonderful years. Dear mother to Heidi (Brad) Soepboer and Darryl Edwards. Will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Ryan, Sherri (Mike), Taia and Dante and great grandson's Myles and Mason. Predeceased by parents Edward and Rubina (nee Hibbard) Stark.

Barbara Catherine Murray (nee Stark) Edwards was born on April 28, 1932 in Saint-Felix-de-Valois, Quebec. Barb was loved dearly by all of her family and friends and will be greatly missed. She carried herself with grace and was always worried about the well-being of others. She loved her cats, who will miss her dearly, and especially her feathered companion “Willie”.  

Thank you to the St. Joseph’s Hospice team for all of their support and care to help Barb remain valiantly at home and allow her to peacefully pass there, surrounded by her loving family.

Barbara bravely fought cancer for over 30 years. Although her mind was strong, her body could no longer endure.

Private funeral arrangements have taken place and a Celebration of Barbara's Life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations can be made to St. Joseph's Hospice or Sarnia Humane Society, which she was very passionate about.
