Barbara Ann Brazeau

After a courageous battle with cancer,  BARBARA ANN (FERGUSON) BRAZEAU age 82 passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Bluewater Health on Saturday July 29, 2017.  Beloved wife of the late Omer Brazeau (2012).  Loving mother of Katherine Poirier, James Brazeau, Nancy DeBie, Steven Brazeau, Kenny and Theresa Brazeau.  Cherished grandmother of Robert (Maria), David, Sarah, Kevin, Alex, Jessica, Christopher, Kyle, Stacy and Silio.  Also survived by sisters in law Lorraine Ferguson, Beulah Ferguson and many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her parents Duncan and Grace Ferguson, brothers Stan, Ken, Elroy, Ian, Alan and grandson Michael Gillespie.  Barbara was a strong compassionate woman who cared for others deeply and volunteered with Children Aid Society for many years.  She was fun loving and had a good sense of humour and will be missed by all who knew her.  The family wish to thank the nurses at V.O.N. and the Palliative Care Unit who took exceptional care of her.  Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTRE on Wednesday August 2nd  at 3:00 p.m. with visitation from 2:00 p.m. until time of service.  Sympathy may be expressed through donation to the Canadian Cancer Society.
