At Marshall Gowland Manor on Thursday, August 20, 2009, ANNIE LOUISE (McCREADIE) SMITH, age 91, of Sarnia, beloved wife of the late Orval Harold Smith (1978). Dear mother of Linda Stapleton and her husband Doug of Bright's Grove, Cathy Cook and her husband Dennis of Sarnia and the late Donald Smith (2008). Loving grandmother of Chris, Carolyn and Jeremy. Sister of Dorothy Carswell and her husband Andrew and Catherine Moniot. Mother-in-law of Jannice Smith and sister-in-law of Albert Scott. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by sisters Marian McCreadie, Nettie Sands and Margaret Scott. A charter member of Dunlop United Church, Ann was a long time member of the United Church Women. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME on Monday, August 24 th. at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home on Saturday afternoon and evening from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to Dunlop United Church or the Charity of choice (cheques only please).
