At Bluewater Health on Tuesday, April 26, 2011, ANNIE EVELYN (WELLS) LaTOUR, age 81, of Point Edward, beloved wife of Roy LaTour. Dear mother of Debbie Werden and her husband Howard of Brampton, Randy LaTour and his wife Sherri of Peachtree City, Georgia, and Kathy Farrell and her husband Bill of Sarnia. Loving grandmother of Wendy Werden and Heather Paquette, Ashley and Caitlin LaTour and Andrea, Nicole and Ryan Farrell. Great-grandmother of Bradley Paquette. Dear sister of Freda Kellestine and her husband Robert of Aylmer and Betty Taylor and her husband John of Union. Pre-deceased by a sister Joan Foubister and two infant brothers, Mrs. LaTour was born at Cornerbrook, Newfoundland and had resided in Point Edward since 1953. She was a retired telephone operator with Bell Telephone and later on served as the librarian of the Point Edward Library. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE on Friday, April 29 th. at 11:00 a. m. with Major Rick Pollard of the Salvation Army officiating. Interment in Lakeview Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home on Friday morning from 10:00 a. m. until time of service. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation (cheques only please).
