Angela (Jean) Round

At St. Joseph's Hospice on Monday, July 23, 2012, Angela (Jean) Round passed away. Loving daughter of the late Warren and Nellie Morningstar and wife of the late John Round (1989). In mom's words, she is survived by a wonderful daughter Marsha Jean and husband George Gordon of Marysville, MI and two great sons, Douglas John and wife Katherine of Cambridge and David Thomas and wife Patricia of Sarnia, three beautiful granddaughters, Angela and Dr. Adam Henn of Greensboro, NC, Lisa and Jay Irving of Sarnia, and Ashley Round of Sarnia, two great granddaughters Natalie and Olivia Henn of Greensboro, NC and two great grandsons, Joshua and Tyler Irving of Sarnia and special friend Bill Core and family and many good neighbours and friends. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Predeceased by brothers Wallace, Burton, Alvin, Alden, Harvey and Everett and two sisters Mary and Mildred. In her family's words, Angela was an amazing, thoughtful caregiver to relatives and friends alike always opening her home to those in need. She was an accomplished sewer, knitter, furniture restorer and a é¢a‚A"Jeané¢a‚ of all trades who shared her talents with many. She especially loved her home and tending her yard and garden. Her passing is the end of the era of one great lady who was always busy making the world a better place. Our mother, grandmother and great grandmother will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of the D.J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, July 27th at 11:00 am. Interment in Lakeview Cemetery. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Thursday, July 26th from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations gratefully accepted at St. Joseph's Hospice Sarnia-Lambton and Pathways Health Centre for Children or charity of your choice.
