At Marshall Gowland Manor on Tuesday, February 17, 2009, ANDREW BRAEKEVELT, age 83, of Sarnia, beloved husband of Frances Olive (McLean) Braekevelt. Dear father of David Braekevelt and his wife Beverley of Corunna. Loving grandfather of Lisa Dubois and her husband Dan of Corunna and Brian Braekevelt of Mississauga. Great-grandfather of Hannah and Julia Dubois. Born in Belgium, Mr. Braekevelt had resided in Sarnia nearly all his life. He was retired from C.N. Rail, and was a member of Central Baptist Church. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME on Friday, February 20 th. at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home on Friday afternoon from 12:00 noon until time of service. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to The Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation, Sarnia Humane Society or the Charity of Choice(cheques only please).
