Alma Mirium Stokes

STOKES, ALMA - At Lambton Meadowview Villa, Petrolia on Wednesday, January 14, 2015, Alma Miriam (Stiff) Stokes, age 89, passed away. She was the loving wife of the late Forrest A. Stokes (1977) and dear sister of Bill Stiff, Jean Riley and Marie Kay. She was the special aunt of several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Alice Thompson and Lillian Sherwood and her brother Ernest Stiff. Alma lived in Toledo, Ohio for 23 years and was a longtime Sarnia resident and enjoyed the services at Huron Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 19, 2015 at 11:00 am. at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St., Sarnia), with Pastor David Benn of Huron Baptist Church officiating. Cremation and interment at a later date will follow. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday, January 18th between the hours of 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Memorial gifts in memory of Alma to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
