Alberta Eileen Filip

Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Vision Nursing Home on Saturday, December 14, 2013, ALBERTA EILEEN (Jay) FILIP, age 86 of Sarnia. Beloved wife of the late Alfred (Fred) Filip(2005). Dear mother of Rob Filip, Jeffrey Filip and his wife Julie and Debra Batchelor and her husband Don all of Sarnia. Loving grandmother of Cheryl (Sean), Ryan (Kathy), Justin (Robin), Jessica (Jason), Kristyn and Kaitlyn and great grandmother of Mason and Jacob and Connor. Predeceased by her parents Albert and Anne Jay. Will also be missed by her sister Constance Carey. Mom was born in Sarnia and was a life long resident. The family would like to give thanks to the staff at Vision Nursing Home and to Glen and Julia at Springmarsh Place for the great care that Mom recieved.

Family will receive friends at the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME and CREMATION CENTRE on Monday, December 16, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

• Details: Funeral services will be held from Redeemer Lutheran Church,on Tuesday,December 17,2013 at 11:00a.m.,with Reverend Dr.Roger Ellis officiating.Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
